Beauty: Crackle Reptile Nails

Here is a little how to, on some cool fall nails.
The polishes I used were; OPI Just Spoted The Lizard (from the spiderman collection), and Super Bass Crackle (from the Nicki Manaj collection).
First I put a clear base coat on my nails. The crackle will not crackle on just bare nails.
Then I did one coat of the crackle, let it dry...
...and put on one coat of the metalic green/gold. You can put on more coats of polish, if you want, but I like seeing a little purple through the green.

And there it is! I think these nails have a really cool reptile look. This technique works with any color you want. I think it's a cool different way to use crackle polish.

Jeepers, I've been wearing a lot of black lately! I usually don't wear this much black, but it feels kind of cool and edgy. I know there are like a billion photos in this post. It was a really nice day, and I was having fun taking them. Sorry. Some things to note about my outfit: my blazer was my mom's for a long time, she gave it to me a few years ago, and I cut out the shoulder pads and roller up the sleeves. Totally modern. The skirt I'm wearing is also a vintage item. I could not resist getting it, at a Goodwill a few years ago (I loved the print). I've worn it a ton (you'll find it in some of my really old outfit posts), but this season it needed a little update. So I shorted it, using my new serge. In case you haven't noticed, a lot of my fall outfits consist of high-waisted skirts, leggings, cardigans/jackets, and boots. It's my go to outfit, what can I say. I hope you've enjoyed this post. Have a great day! -Zoe

DIY: Boot Cuffs Out Of Ripped Socks

Okay, so this is a super simple easy DIY. Just find an old pair of socks, that may or may not have a hole or two, and cut off the bottom. Then just pull it up your leg and let them peek out of your boots!

Coat: Thrifted, $3
Top: Walmart clearance, $3
Jeans: Walmart, $14
Necklace: DIYed
Shoes: Thrifted sale, like $0.50
Belt: I stole it from my dad

Hey-o! I hope everyone reading this is doing well. Some note about my outfit: this outfit is really all about the shoes. I got them when I was like 13, when my sisters and I went thrifting. The thrift store was having a bag sale (you pay five dollars for everything you can fit the bag). So I picked out these shoe's (I think they are from the 80s) and all my sisters hated them! They've come around since. Also, I wore this outfit to the dentist, and the dental hygienist loved them, so take that! And I had no cavities (totally related).
By the way, you can scroll down to see an outfit collage inspired by this outfit. I hope you've enjoyed this post! Have a great day! -Zoe
