I've finally worn a maxi dress in the winter! I've been wanting to pull off this trend for a while, and I finally had a good idea for a winter maxi dress design. I love making my own maxi dresses/skirts because I like them really long, like dragging on the ground long, and I'm just under 5'10" so those don't really exist out in the world (at least I have not come across one). OOTD: Elegant Maxi Dress

Maxi Dress: DIYed, fabric Walmart, $7
Sandals: Target clearance, $14

This dress is seriously the most comfortable dress I've ever worn IN MY LIFE! If you sew you need to make this! The top is basically a rectangle with a head hole, and the skirt and lining are just tapered slightly. You just sew some elastic on the waist band. It will only take you 30min! I highly recommend.
