OOTD: Olive and Grey Maxi Dress
Maxi Dress: Designed and made by me, with Walmart fabric. $7ish
Boots: Charlotte Russe. $14
Earrings: DIYed
Tights: Walmart. Gift
I've finally worn a maxi dress in the winter! I've been wanting to pull off this trend for a while, and I finally had a good idea for a winter maxi dress design. I love making my own maxi dresses/skirts because I like them really long, like dragging on the ground long, and I'm just under 5'10" so those don't really exist out in the world (at least I have not come across one). If you are wondering why the photo quality is higher than usually, it's because I had my little brother, Duncan, take them for me. You can find more of his work on his Facebook Page: www.facebook.com/duncansphotography

Long Sleeved Shirt: Walmart via second hand
Sweater Dress: Goodwill, $3.75
Jeans: Walmart, $14
Boots: Thrifted, $10
Necklace: DIYed
Owl Bag: Designed and made by me.

This is a very warm outfit, which is great for how cold it's been this winter. Probably the most unique things about this outfit are my necklace and my owl bag. I made this necklace on the fly, because I thought this outfit could use a little something. It's a silver charm of a woman's face, that my Grandma gave me, and a stripe of fabric from some vintage drapes, that I bought at a thrift store years ago. I also used the fabric from the drapes for my owl bag. If your interested in owl purses, and other animals, check out my Etsy store (linked on the upper left of my blog). Have a great day!-Zoe

OOTD: Plaid To Hear It (get it, it's a pun)
Dress: Vintage Thrifted, $2 (I think)
Skirt: Charlotte Russe via second-hand
Leggings: Walmart clearance, like $3
Boots: Thrifted, $10
Do you ever buy something, thinking 'This is cute, I'll totally wear it' then it sits in you closet for like a year or two? Then you finally where it and it looks great and you love it! That's this dress. And the leggings. The one issue with the dress, as you can probably tell, is the fact that is is super sort on me. I am a giant, but I know how to get around it, just put a skirt underneath. Totally cute! Hope you've enjoyed this post. Have a great day! P.S. I know the cat looks super annoyed to be in these pictures, but I swear he was like clawing at my leg, trying to climb me to get in them! He just turns on the too-cool-for-school face when the camera is on. What a diva cat. -_-

Coat: Thrifted, $3.00
Top: Goodwill, $3.75
Skirt: secondhand
Cardigan: Vanity via secondhand
Tights: Walmart clearance, $2.00
Boots: Charlotte Russe, $26.00
So.........it was like 0 degrees when I took these pictures (not kidding). I'm sorry if I look a little cyborg-ish in the last pic, with the sun beam through the eye. And, yes, those are cats in the background of the shoe photo, I just can't get away from them. I tried something new with my hair! Kind of a low, 20s-ish, side bun, of sorts. I thought it looked kind of dope. Well, you can be expecting lots of skirt/boot/cardigan combos to come, because that is what I wear all winter. That's all I have to say. Have great day! -Zoe
